OR:27 Saint Monday
As freshmen at South Portland High School, Izaak, Ryan and Andrew started as a jamster-type band, getting together once or twice a month, adding the talents of Kyle Richardson soon therafter (“It was a perfect match”).
They quickly bonded, blending each other’s playing styles and various influences to create their own unique collective sound. They don’t believe they sound like any band in particular (“That’s just the way we like it”).
In the summer before their junior year, the band took the next steps to become better known, and started playing at school talent shows and functions. After their junior year, SAINT MONDAY became even more focused and began creating their own songs, learning valuable production and writing skills as a result.
Now, with a serious outlook and a congruent sound, SAINT MONDAY is ready to show off their talents in OFF-RAMP: EXIT 27, their very first musical competition.
