Reindeer Group, Inc. is a corporation registered in the State of Maine and recognized by the IRS as a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization.

Reindeer's Mission Statement: "...To promote, develop and encourage the talent and abilities of young performing artists; To promote and develop interest in the arts; to propose, create, develop and administer nonprofit programs which provide goods and/or services to train, educate and develop the skills of young performing artists, or which promote the provision of services for young performing artists..."

Reindeer's mission is accomplished through several Reindeer siblings:

REINDEER RECORDS, a grassroots indie label since 1985, has done many deals with many entry-level Artists around the globe and now boasts a catalog of about 80 products, from teen rock to jazz, released on the Reindeer label or some of our affiliated labels (such as JOPPA JIVE, our Christian music label).

REINDEER THEATRE COMPANY, a childrens and community theater group since 1993, has provided experience and exposure to actors and singers of all ages, and has produced over 80 productions ranging from children's plays to musical revues, original works to full-blown musicals.

REINDEER PAK (Performing Arts for Kids) for many years provided hands-on opportunities to young actors of various experience levels with targeted short-term workshops.

THE ROCK-OFF has been our flagship event since 1983. For 25 years, this popular statewide high school rock band competition has provided performing, career and networking exposures to thousands of Maine high school musicians in hundreds of bands--many who are noteworthy such as Howie Day, Rustic Overtones, Jeremiah Freed, Sparks The Rescue and many more.

FLARO (The Florida Rock-Off) served the same mission from 1994-2004 in the Tampa Bay region.

RAMP & THE OFF-RAMP - In 2010, we launched RAMP (Reindeer's Alternative Music Program) to fulfill our quest to create an accredited music industry-based curriculum for Maine’s alternative education students. In an effort to integrate our educational goals with a bigger-and-better competition for high school rock bands, THE OFF-RAMP was simultaneously created.

This website is designed to provide an overview of Reindeer's scope of service--past, present and future. Please use the side-bar to browse our various "Reindeer siblings" and some of our on-going performing arts projects. And feel free to visit RUDY'S GENERAL STORE to buy our products.
